The national level enterprise technology center inauguration ceremony was held at the square in front of the newly built R&D building on the morning of May 28, 2010. Chairman Huang Tian-wen of Sinosteel Group, together with Secretary of CPC Xingtai Municipal Committee Jiang De-guo, unveiled the nameplate of Sinosteel XTMMC Technology Center.

At 8:50 a.m.in the warm applause, more than 200 guests, together with 1000 staff and workers of Sinosteel XTMMC, witnessed and celebrated the great occasion. The guests included Chairman Huang Tian-wen of Sinosteel Group, General Manager Jia Bao-jun of Sinosteel Corp., Deputy General Manager Gong Jing-sheng of Sinosteel Corp, Board Secretary and Director of Board office Li Ke-jie, Deputy Director-General of Hebei Science & Technology Department Liao Bo, Secretary of CPC Xingtai Municipal Committee Jiang De-guo, leaders from Xingtai Municipal Government, Xingtai MPC Standing Committee and Xingtai People's Political Consultative Conference, the technical advisors appointed by Sinosteel XTMMC, the representatives from domestic and foreign famous steel enterprises, mill design units and foreign roll-making companies.

At 9:00 a.m.,Xue Ling-hu,General Manager and Party Secretary of Sinosteel XTMMC announced the ceremony started.

General Manager Jia Bao-jun of Sinosteel Corp., Deputy Director-General of Hebei Science & Technology Department Liao Bo, Xingtai municipal party committee member, executive vice mayor Dai Zhan-yin and General Manager Xue Ling-hu of Sinosteel XTMMC made warm speeches at the ceremony, respectively.

After the inauguration ceremony, accompanied by our company’s leaders, the guests from home and abroad visited our newly built R&D center, exhibition hall, information center, production and monitoring command center, research and testing equipment and our modern production fields. During their visit, the guests highly praised us for our development achievements in the past few years after we joined Sinosteel Group and they wished us to realize the goal of building the most powerful enterprise in the world’s roll-making industry with international vision and global competition concept as early as possible.
