On March 5, the strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony between Chongqing Iron & Steel Co.Sinosteel XTMMC was held grangdly in Chongqing. General Manager Chen Hong of Chongqing Iron & Steel Co., General Manager and Party Secretary Xue Ling-hu and Deputy General Manager Zou De-cai of Sinosteel XTMMC attended the ceremony.

Chongqing Iron & Steel (Group) Co.ltd is a super large steel complex with a hundred year history. At the end of the tenth five-year plan, it had an annual production capacity of 3 million tons of steels, formed the production system of common steel plate and sheet,high speed wire and high quality special steel production lines.The signing of the three-year strategic agreement marks that the cooperation between the two sides has entered a new historical stage and is of great significance for the mutual benefit and common development of both sides.

At the signing ceremony,Xue Ling-hu expressed his sincere thanks to Chonggang for their fully support to our company.he said that,under the global financial crisis situation, the steel industry was facing difficulties and challenges.The upstream and downstream enterprises should form a solid strategic alliance to overcome the difficulties,so as to meet a better future. After he briefly recalled the history of mutual cooperation and briefted on development of our company, Xue Ling-hu said, The develoment of Sinosteel XTMMC is inseparable with the fully support from a strategic partner like Chonggang. The three-year strategic agreement between the two sides makes us again really feel the warmth and great support from our ally. Xue Ling-hu said that Sinosteel XTMMC will continue to provide Chonggang with unique products and characteristic services and to build a worry-free roll supply base for Chonggang.He also hoped to enhance and deepen a broad cooperation with Chonggang,so as to get a win-win development for both parties.  

In his speech, Mr. Chen Hong gives his congratulations on Sinosteel XTMMC’s development achievements and expresses his thanks to our company for our substantial support to Chongqing Iron & Steel Co.for many years.After he recalled the history of cooperation between the two sides and gave an introduction to his company’s development, Mr.Chen Hong said that the association between our two strong enterprises is of great significance for us to promote the localization process of rolls in Chongqing Iron & Steel Co.and to improve the mutual development as well as to cope with the fianancial crisis.

After the ceremony, our ganeral manger Xue Ling-hu and our deputy general manger Zou De-cai visited Chonggang’s 4100mm heavy plate rolling line and 1780mm hot strip rolling line.
