Independent roll research and development capacity:The only specialized roll research institute in China;the first provincial technical center named by Hebei Province;the only post Doctors’work station on roll technology in China.
Following the modern technology of metallurgy,casting and heat treatment new materials and new processes are developed while roll quality is improved.Over the past ten years over 30 new produts are developed and several tens of manufacturing know-how are frormed and 43 research projects are granted science and technology developing rewards by the State,Province and municipality.
New products:Large-sized HSS work roll,enhanced ICDP rolls and enhanced HiCr cast iron rolls,Cr2-Cr5 forged steel cold work rolls,intermediate rolls,large-sized forged semi-HSS cold work rolls,intermediate rolls,HiCr duplex cast steel backup rolls,universal section mill work rolls,etc.
Know-how: non-flow pouring technology of large_sized cast steel rolls,D.H. treatment of large-sized duplex rolls,horizontal cast technology of 3-layer, 5+7+8band carbide eliminating technology for forged steel rolls,environment protecting sub-dry mist cutting technology,complete CNC cutting technology for roll journal,etc.
